CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
School conducts several co-curricular activities for developing sense of practicality of the educational concepts. This also provides a chance to express the hidden talent of children. These activities include, debate, group discussion, campaigns, literary and cultural programmes,Scoute guide etc.
HOBBY CLASSES
· School provides hobby classes as a leisure time activity with the help of well trained coaches and instructors.
· Students can opt any two hobbies from music, (instrumental and vocal), Karate, Carrom, Chess, Yoga, Dance, Volley ball, Badminton, Cricket.
(a) Sports
· The sports and games are the integral part of daily curriculum. Emphasis is given on the value of sports activities as well as the physical fitness of children. Qualified instructors and coaches are available to provide a training to the students. Students can opt the game as per their interest.
(b) House System
· The aim of school is the all around development of children. To achieve this, school is divided into four houses : (i) Tagore House (ii) Shivaji House (iii) Raman House
(iv) Neharu House
(c) AWARDS & PRIZES
· Inter house competitions are held on every Saturday of the week. It is compulsory for all students to take part in house activities. Winners of the competitions are awarded by prizes.
(d) Scholarship
· The school offers SSS (Special Scholarship Scheme) for talented student who top their class in over all academic and extracurricular activities of the school.
(e) Educational Tours
Educational tours and excursions are organized by school time to time in an academic year. Tours are sent to historical places, museums, factories, natural spots and various other places where students can learn the first hand knowledge. This gives students an opportunity not only to see the greatness of country and nature but also provide them a sense of responsibility, independence, self confidence and comradeship.
